July 2024 Update from the Sea View somewhere on the coast of Australia

Hi Everyone,

Just getting LaneeB.com back in action onto the Web. I've been busy and only making things more as a hobby and now ready to put the time and effort in. 

I started this dream in 2002 and now in 2024- it's all go.

Over the next few weeks, I will be adding products and blog updates on my Laneeb.com and Facebook and Instagram sites-

My vision back in 2002, was to help the environment by keeping sailcloth out of landfill and evolving that into my love of art: making things, sewing things, painting things, weaving things and knitting things- I pitched my idea to Ross Munro from Line 7 in NZ and he gave me the opportunity to sell bags under the Team NZ name. It was huge and that's when WhatKnot Sailor Girl Bags in 2002 was launched and then relaunched in 2011 adding Laneeb.com

I have 2 HandBag Collections, the Strands bags and the ClamShell beach bags. They will come in various sizes and each one will be unique. No two bags will look the same.

The materials I use are saved from a sail-loft's floor and would normally end up in the landfill, but I grab it and cut it up to create special 'one of a kind' Sailor Girl Handbags for you to enjoy.

My Strand-like Art Canvases will soon be avalible to purchase too.
